Why AIPPC?

Primavera is a tool.

Project Controls is the profession.

AIPPC develops broader Project Controls capability rather than teaching Primavera P6 alone. You will learn the complete workflow from planning through reporting — not just how to operate software.

What is AIPPC?

AIPPC stands for Applied Integrated Project Planning & Controls. It is a six-month structured Project Controls Internship designed to develop practical skills in planning, scheduling, progress measurement, cost control, EVM, reporting, claims awareness, Power BI and AI-enabled Project Controls.

Yes. AIPPC is a six-month structured Project Controls Internship. It includes 3 months of training and 3 months of project-based work. The internship credential records structured internship and practical activities and does not constitute an employment contract with EDGE Project Controls.

The AIPPC internship runs for 6 months total: 3 months of structured training followed by 3 months of project-based practical work. The split is approximately 30% concepts and theory, 70% practical application.

Preferably candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Architecture. Graduates with some experience can also apply. The program is suitable for site engineers, fresh graduates, diploma holders, junior planners, project engineers, and professionals working in or seeking roles in Project Planning, Controls, Contracts and Quantity Surveying. Overseas job aspirants (Gulf/Western countries) are also welcome.

Yes. Primavera P6 is a core tool throughout the internship. However, AIPPC goes far beyond software operation to cover the full project controls workflow including planning methodology, scheduling, progress measurement, cost control, EVM and reporting.

Yes. Module 7 covers Advanced Data Analytics in Project Controls using Power BI. You will build interactive dashboards including Executive Summary, Progress Curves, EVM Analysis, Cost Variance, Delay Analysis and Resource Histograms.

Yes. Earned Value Management (EVM) is covered in Module 4 (Progress Measurement & Performance Tracking). You will learn PV, EV, AC, SPI, CPI, EAC and apply these metrics to real project data.

Yes. Module 6 covers Claims & Contract Management with FIDIC-based contract awareness. You will learn delay identification, impact analysis, EOT procedures and claims documentation.

Yes. Module 8 covers Introduction to Artificial Intelligence in Project Controls. You will explore AI-assisted scheduling, forecasting, automated reporting and predictive analytics concepts.

Yes. Structured assignments and practical deliverables are a core part of the AIPPC internship. Each module includes practical work that must be completed to progress through the program.

Successful completion of all assessments and assignments is required to receive the internship certificate, CPD certification and practical experience record. Incomplete work may result in non-certification.

Upon successful completion: (1) Project Controls Internship Certificate from EDGE Project Controls FZE, (2) 6 Months Work Experience Letter, (3) CPD UK Certification with 720 credits from CPDSO, United Kingdom, and (4) a Project Portfolio of selected practical deliverables.

The internship certificate is awarded subject to successful completion of all program requirements and assessments. It is not automatic upon enrollment.

No. AIPPC does not guarantee jobs, placement, salary or employment. The program is designed to strengthen practical capability, project evidence and employability. Employment outcomes depend on the candidate’s qualifications, performance, experience and employer requirements.

Yes. Fresh engineering graduates and diploma holders are welcome. The program is specifically designed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and professional project controls practice.

Yes. Site engineers aiming for Planning Engineer or Project Controls roles will find AIPPC particularly valuable. The program builds the structured project controls knowledge needed to transition from site-based to office-based planning roles.

The primary tools used are Oracle Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel (Advanced), Power BI, and industry contract formats (FIDIC-based). Software requirements and access details will be provided upon enrollment.
