Each module connects theory to practical application through structured assignments and project-based deliverables.
Develop a project controls framework for a construction project. Create organisational charts, risk registers, and understand how projects move from initiation through closure.
Develop a complete baseline schedule in Primavera P6 covering pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases. Apply cost and resource loading. Create progress update templates.
Prepare cost loading sheets mapping BOQ items to scheduled activities. Develop cash flow projections. Analyse cost variance and understand how cost and schedule interact on live projects.
Apply EVM metrics to real project data. Generate S-curves for man-hours and cost. Identify schedule and cost variance. Prepare performance tracking reports with trend analysis.
Prepare BOQ items and map them to schedule activities. Understand procurement workflows. Develop commercial awareness through case study analysis of contract documents.
Analyse delay events on the case study project. Prepare delay analysis using Primavera P6. Review FIDIC contract clauses relevant to time and cost claims. Document EOT procedures.
Build comprehensive Power BI dashboards including Executive Summary, Progress Curves (Man-hours/Cost), Activity Progress Trend, Earned Value Analysis, Cost Variance, Delay Analysis & Trends, and Resource Histograms.
Apply AI tools to enhance project controls workflows. Use AI for schedule risk analysis, automated report generation, and predictive forecasting on project performance data.
Work through the complete Orion Commercial Tower case study end-to-end. Collaborate in teams to deliver all project controls deliverables. Present findings to supervisors. Compile professional portfolio.
